Loch Modan

Go to Ironforge talk to Gnoarn near the tram and get the quest “Find Bingles”. Then take the gryphon to Loch Modan.

In Thelsamar talk to Jern Hornhelm (house furthest east) and pick up “Ironband’s Excavation”.

Ironband’s Excavation

Follow the lake south. When you get to the southern most end of the lake head east to Ironband’s Excavation.

Turn “Ironband’s Excavation” into Magmar Fellhew in Ironband’s excavation site. Pick up the quest “Gathering Idols”.

Talk to Prospector Ironband west of Ironband’s excavation site and get the quest “Excavation Progress Report”.

Find Bingles

Head northwest until you find Bingles Blastenheimer. Turn in the quest “Find Bingles” and pick up the quest “Bingles’ Missing Supplies”.

Move to the east to Farstrider Lodge talk to Marek Ironheart in Farstrider Lodge and pick up “Crocolisk Hunting”.

Talk to Daryl the Youngling in the other wing of the Farstrider Lodge. Get the quest “A Hunter’s Boast”.

A Hunter’s Boast

Kill 6 Mountain Buzzards and return within Daryl and turn in quest within 15 min. You can find the buzzards in along the hills around the lodge and south.

Take the quest “A Hunter’s Challenge”.

A Hunter’s Challenge

Go and kill five Elder Mountain Boars and return within 12 minutes. They can be found to the north of the lodge.

Crocolisk Hunting

Head back towards Thelsamar along the lake.

Kill Crocolisks along the shore of the lake and the southern most island and collect five pieces of Crocolisk Meat and six Crocolisk Skins. Return to Farstrider Lodge and turn in the quest “Crocolisk Hunting”.

Excavation Progress Report

Turn in “Excavation Progress Report” to Jern Hornhelm in Thelsamar and get “Report to Ironforge”.

Report to Ironforge

Go to Ironforge and talk to Prospector Stormpike in the Assembly of Explorers get the quest “Powder to Ironband” return to Thelsamar.

Talk to Jern Hornhelm turning in “Powder to Ironband” and getting “Resupplying the Excavation”.

Resupplying the Excavation

Move south along the lake and find Huldar next to a wagon. When you get to the wagon kill the Dark Iron Ambushers and Saean. Talk to Huldar. Turn in “Resupplying the Excavation” and get “After the Ambush”. Talk to Miran standing beside him and turn in “After the Ambush” and accept “Protecting the Shipment”.

Protecting the Shipment

Escort Miran to the dig site. Don’t get to far from him or you will fail the quest. Once you have escorted Miran talk to Prospector Ironband and turn in “Protecting the Shipment”.

If you have not made level 17 run around and kill bears, spiders, and boars until you do.

Return to Thelsamar.

Head north on the road to Algaz Station. Turn east and go into the Silver Stream Mine. Move carefully into the mine clicking on the piles of boxes until you have completed “Filthy Paws”. Return to Algaz station and turn in “Filthy Paws” to the guard in the tower.
